With 25 years experience in the aerospace and aircraft industries and having a natural flare for precision Calvin soon grew the company with dedication, sheer determination and hands on hard work. Becoming specialists in CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Conventional Turning and Milling for the Waste Water, Marine, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Defence Industries.
The company soon became one of the leading companies in its field, employing local skilled engineers and opening its doors to pass on there skills to new recruits, apprentices from Paragon technical college www.paragonskills.co.uk which is a partner of the Employment and Skills Group www.esggroup.co.uk The firm is now an approved supplier to DEK International, www.dek.com and have many blue chip defence and MoD companies like QuintiQ www.qinetiq.com on there books and have produced critical components for not only local companies but nationwide and Europe.
Recent expansion into larger modern state of the art premise’s, restructuring and heavy investment in the latest software, machinery and a talented work force has further strengthened Sea-NC’s position in the market and the company continues to grow. Recognised in the UK as one of the most forward thinking companies in its field, Sea-NC is also building a considerable reputation in the defence industry offering a single source service with unequalled technical capabilities and approvals. The company felt immediate growth when our services broadened to offering a rebuild and repair service for the waste water industry including Conical and parallel shafts and pattern reverse engineering saving our customers thousand’s and re-manufacturing them for a fraction of the cost when originally purchasing new unit’s in Europe.
Further enhancing our grip on the market Sea-NC achieved the all new BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accreditation to fulfil our customer’s requirements in the defence industry and began working to a Quality management system which improved all round efficiency, traceability and reliability to our ever increasing customer database. We have now become a versatile single source solution and offer complete assemblies, units, machining, fabrication and cover just about the whole spectrum of the engineering industry and with our approved sub contractors at hand all finishes including painting, engraving, plating, CNC Laser cutting, CNC water jetting and heat treatments including hardening and powder coating complement our existing premium service.
